SEIU Local 200United Endorses Aaron Gladd for Senate

SEIU Local 200United Joins Growing List of Labor Organizations Supporting Gladd to Fight For Workers Across New York State


BRUNSWICK, NY – Aaron Gladd, candidate for State Senate District 43 and U.S. Army Combat Veteran, today announced that he has been endorsed by SEIU Local 200United – which represents over 15,000 workers in the public, private, and federal sectors across Upstate New York. Gladd has committed to protecting union jobs and strengthening New York’s legacy as a leader in workers’ rights as a key priority of his campaign.


“We believe Aaron Gladd will truly be a fighter for Upstate New York and workers across the region,” said Scott Phillipson, President of SEIU Local 200United. “It’s clear that he understands the issues working families face, as well as our values. We need elected leaders like him fighting for us in Albany.”

Gladd has earned the support from workers across New York State for his commitment to workers across the state. The endorsement from SEIU Local 200United joins previous support from International Union of Operating Engineers, LIUNA-NY, New York State Nurses Association, 1199SEIU and the New York Public Employees Federation.
