New York State Public Employees Federation Enforces NY-43 Candidate for His Commitment & Vision for Workers Rights, Healthcare, Economic Development

BRUNSWICK, NY– Aaron Gladd, candidate for State Senate District 43 and U.S. Army Combat Veteran, today announced that he has received the endorsement of the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF)— the union that represents more than 50,000 state and local government employees.

“With Aaron’s strong commitment to public service and focus on protecting the needs of real hard-working New Yorkers, the Public Employees Federation proudly supports his candidacy to join the New York State Senate,” said PEF President Wayne Spence. “We believe our representatives should truly understand the concerns facing our communities and Aaron will be a great advocate for New York’s workers.”

“I am honored and humbled to be endorsed by the union that represents the men and women who tirelessly serve all New Yorkers,” said Aaron Gladd. “As a strong believer in organized labor and its economic impact on our state, I will stand up for union works and make sure economic development discussions include good-paying union jobs.”

Gladd aims to restore the belief that innovation and hard work can achieve anything—and that government should work to create an economic environment that allows small businesses to grow and invests in infrastructure to attract local jobs. Like PEF, Gladd is committed to combating discrimination, hate, and bigotry.
